I found this recipe on Pinterest and it is fantastic!! It's super easy to make and delicious!
Beef and Broccoli
First, marinate the meat:
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb flank steak, cut into strips. (I just use the packaged strips of stew meat)
Whisk together the soda, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, water and oil. Toss the steak with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Next:
1/2 c soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp flour
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 head broccoli, crowns only (I just use frozen broccoli)
1. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and flour until smooth. Set aside.
2. In a large wok or saute pan, heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat. Add broccoli and saute for 3 minutes. Transfer broccoli to plate.
3. Reduce heat to medium-high. Carefully add the remaining tbsp of oil to the hot pan. Add the marinaded meat and half of the sauce mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Stir in the broccoli and remaining sauce and cook for another minute or so.
Enjoy.
